Why Get Qualified

Understand Your RPL Options Before You Apply.

A nationally recognised qualification may support career planning or licensing discussions, depending on employer and authority requirements. A trade qualification may support applications for some roles or licence pathways, subject to employer and relevant authority requirements.

  • Support discussions where a qualification is required by an employer, project or authority
  • Pre-requisite for state builder/trade licences in NSW, VIC, QLD, WA
  • Meet the certificate requirement for trade contractor licences
  • Step up to supervisor and PM roles with Cert IV pathway
  • May support some career pathway purposes

Note: Obtaining a qualification does not guarantee employment, licensing approval, or any visa or migration outcome. For visa-specific advice, consult a registered migration agent.

Simple 5-Step Process

RPL in 5 Simple Steps

Your work experience may support an RPL assessment toward a nationally recognised qualification issued by an ASQA-registered partner RTO.

1

Free RPL Suitability Enquiry

Discuss your skills, work history and experience with our team to determine whether RPL may be suitable for you. Eligible applicants are referred to a partnered RTO for enrolment.
2

Enrolment & RPL Kit

The partnered RTO enrols you into the qualification or units and provides the RPL assessment kit, evidence guide and submission requirements.
3

Evidence Collection & Submission

Gather and submit evidence of your skills and experience — resumes, employment documents, licences, references, work samples and previous training records. We can assist you with organising your evidence.
4

Assessment & Review

The RTO assessor reviews your evidence and may conduct a competency conversation, workplace verification, practical assessment or request additional information if required.
5

Outcome

The RTO determines the assessment outcome. Where competency requirements are met, the RTO issues the qualification or Statement of Attainment.

"Did my carpentry apprenticeship in Ireland, then 8 years on the tools. Reached out and had a callback the next day. They tracked every step -- chased the references, told me exactly what evidence to send, kept me moving when I got stuck. From first call to certificate took just 6 weeks. The whole thing was effortless on my end."

"Trained as a tiler in the UK, then 2 years in Sydney without my certificate recognised here. The assessor walked me through every piece of evidence -- supportive the whole way, never made me feel like I was wasting their time. Six weeks later I had my Australian Certificate III. Now I'm working in the trade I've always been skilled at."
