Formally Qualified exists for one reason: too many experienced tradies miss out on real money because they are unsure how their experience may be considered through RPL. We help them understand possible next steps.
Why We Started FQ
We saw experienced workers who wanted clearer information about how their trade experience could be considered through Recognition of Prior Learning. Some had local experience, some had overseas training, and many were unsure what evidence an Australian RTO may require before assessment.
So we built a focused RPL referral and support service for construction trades. FQ is a third-party recruitment and marketing provider. We help people understand possible RPL pathways and organise evidence before referral to ASQA-registered partner RTOs, who make all enrolment, assessment and qualification decisions.

Construction trades are our core focus — it's where we started and where we deliver best. Through ASQA-registered partner RTOs, we may also support referral pathways in community services, hospitality, and business.
Referral Support
FQ can provide general information about the RPL enquiry process before referral. Assessment and enrolment decisions are made by the partner RTO.

Our Partner RTOs
Formally Qualified Pty Ltd is a third-party student recruitment and marketing/referral provider. Any nationally recognised qualification is issued by an ASQA-registered partner Registered Training Organisation where enrolment, assessment and competency requirements are met.
