Real Earning Outcomes

Waterproofing is One of the Most Regulated Trades. The Cert is Non-Negotiable.

You can assist with waterproofing work as an employee, but to certify membrane systems, contract directly, or take responsibility for wet-area scope, CPC31420 is required by state regulators and head contractors alike.

Every wet area, every roof, every below-ground build needs a certified waterproofer. NSW, VIC and QLD all have specific requirements for waterproofing certification on building work. The supply of qualified contractors is thin. The pay reflects it.
