Common Questions

Diploma of Business โ€” Your Questions Answered

How is the qualification assessed through RPL?+
RPL assessment is evidence-based. You may need to provide references, photos, training records and evidence of relevant Australian workplace experience where required. The partner RTO reviews the evidence against the training product requirements and determines the assessment outcome.
Who issues the qualification?+
If the partner RTO determines RPL is suitable and all competency and administrative requirements are met, the partner RTO may issue the qualification. Formally Qualified is a third-party student recruitment and marketing provider and does not issue qualifications, enrol students, provide RTO training or student support services, or make assessment decisions.
Is this qualification nationally recognised?+
Yes. BSB50120 is a nationally recognised qualification under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF). It’s issued by an ASQA-registered partner Registered Training Organisation and issued by the ASQA-registered partner RTO where assessment requirements are met.
Can I do RPL if I trained overseas?+
Overseas training or experience may support an RPL application. Formal qualification equivalency or migration-related skills assessments are conducted by authorised bodies, not by FQ. Evidence requirements and assessment decisions are set by the partner RTO.
What if I don’t have all the evidence?+
You can tell FQ what evidence you currently have for general referral guidance. The partner RTO confirms evidence requirements and advises any available options before assessment.
