Hospitality & Commercial Cookery
Get Your Hospitality Certificate Through RPL
Years in the kitchen, behind the bar, or running a venue — but no formal ticket? Your hospitality experience may support an RPL application through an ASQA-registered partner RTO.
Qualifications In This Sector
- SIT30821 Certificate III in Commercial Cookery — entry pathway for working chefs
- SIT40521 Certificate IV in Kitchen Management — for sous chefs and chefs de partie
- SIT50422 Diploma of Hospitality Management — for venue and department managers
- SIT60322 Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management — senior multi-venue and operations roles
How RPL Works
You bring evidence of the work you already do — menus you’ve built, services you’ve run, training of junior staff, references from head chefs and venue managers, photos and records of food and beverage service. A partner RTO assessor reviews evidence against the training product requirements. If competency and all requirements are met, the partner RTO may issue the qualification.
